Kicking off LGBTQ History Month
Happy LGBTQ History Month!
We have had such a successful and productive year here at the Faulkner Morgan Archive. Through an exciting schedule of events, talks, exhibitions, and more, we have worked to share Kentucky’s LGBTQ history across the Commonwealth and around the nation.
This October, in addition to LGBTQ History Month, we are also continuing to celebrate Henry Faulkner’s centennial. Earlier this year, we announced our goal of raising $100k for Henry's 100th. Through this campaign, we want to honor his legacy by investing in the Faulkner Morgan Archive's mission—one close to Henry's heart—of sharing Kentucky's LGBTQ story.
It's your generosity that makes the Faulkner Morgan Archive possible. Thank you for saving our history!
With gratitude,
Jonathan Coleman, Ph.D. (he/him)
Co-Founder and President
We are already halfway to our goal! Through the generosity of dozens of supporters, as well as our seed donors Jim Gray and Eric Orr, Stephen Reily and Emily Bingham, and Steve Wilson and Laura Lee Brown, we've raised over $50,000. We are making great progress, but we still need your help to reach our goal of $100,000.
We can't save these stories without you! Will you join us? Your support of the Faulkner Morgan Archive helps ensure our stories are saved and shared. As we celebrate LGBTQ History Month, would you consider making a tax-deductible donation?
