We welcome passionate individuals who want to contribute their time and skills to help preserve and share Kentucky's LGBTQ stories. Whether you can lend a hand once or regularly, your help makes a big difference!
Ways You Can Volunteer
Volunteering with FMA can involve a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
Helping with Events: Assist with setting up, running, and taking down events such as exhibits, talks, or outreach efforts.
Administrative Tasks: Support FMA with essential behind-the-scenes work like stuffing envelopes, sorting mailers, or organizing materials.
Archival Assistance: Help with cataloging and organizing collections, moving boxes, or preserving historical materials.
Tabling at Events: Represent FMA at community events, spreading awareness and sharing our mission with the public.
Special Projects: Assist with occasional special tasks or one-time projects based on your skills and interests.
