Lexington Fairness Ordinance

The material included here was sourced from several difference places during the summer of 2019, as Lexington celebrated the 20th anniversary of passing its Fairness Ordinance, which protected LGBTQ people from discrimination in housing, public accommodation, and employment. The Lexington History Museum spearheaded an exhibit at the Lexington Public Library. The Faulkner Morgan Archive participated and hosted two speakers’ panels associated with the exhibit’s run. Most of this material was sourced from the exhibit.
